A really great 1940s Civillain B15 Mod flight jacket. Very likely made by a contractor post war, as the pattern and details are near identical to the military spec. This ones fabric has gone a stunning golden green colour over year of wear and fade. It’s got the faint faded stencil on arm, alpaca lining and interestingly has frogskin HBT in cuff lining. We fully replaced all the knits to wool mil spec. Original brass conmar zip in perfect working order.
In great vintage condition. This piece is around 70 years old.
We consider wear and repairs part of the garments story but “flaws” of note are -
fabric has sun fading and marks / paint mostly visible on the arms as shown. Knits are replacements by us.
