A beautiful half belt sports jacket. Made from a lovely soft wool gabardine and lined in a plaid cotton, it’s a seriously well made piece. Made in USA in the 1940s, it features a brass talon zip and also chain zip pocket. It has a very attractive back design, half belt with gusset and side adjusters, an all round killer piece! Label is sadly gone but I would hazard a guess at ‘fraternity prep’.
Condition
In great vintage condition. This piece is near 75 years old.
We consider wear and repairs part of the garments story but “flaws” of note are -
fray to arm as shown and a small original repair to the front right side.

Size not marked but fits like an XS/S.
Measures approximately 20.5” armpit to armpit, 17” across the shoulders, 22.75” back of neck to base, 17” pit to cuff, 22.5” shoulder to cuff and 18” across waist. All measurements are in inches, if you are unsure about fit and if you require further measurements please just ask.
