Rare US Marine Core M1951 field jacket. inlike the army version It features a green cotton nylon shell which makes it much lighter and the colour and feel is so much nicer in my opinion. Fastens with zip (Conmar) and popper fastening. Printed Spec is present and clear dating it to 1951 made by LW foster. This one has a really nice colour which is perfectly faded.

In great vintage condition. This piece is over 70 years old.
We consider wear and repairs part of the garments story but “flaws” of note are -
We have repaired the neckline and shoulder as shown. Light fray to cuff ends, Couple small original field repairs. Light marks as expected.

Size label missing but fits a modern Large.
Measures approximately 24.5” armpit to armpit, 20.75” across the shoulders, 33” back of neck to base, 20.5” pit to cuff and 25.5” shoulder to cuff. All measurements are in inches, if you are unsure about fit and if you require further measurements please just ask.
