A nice US Navy deck knitted sweater. Dated to 1965, vietnam era and named to "A Messi", these Wool knits are a great layer with shorter "moc neck" and a closer fit.

In great vintage condition. This piece is around 50 years old.
We consider wear and repairs part of the garments story but “flaws” of note are -
I’ve done a small darn repair on the back as shown.

Size marked Large as these were designed very close fitting, fits more like a modern small - medium.
Measures approximately 20.5” armpit to armpit, 19” across the shoulders, 27” back of neck to base, 21.5” pit to cuff and 16.5” across the waistband. All measurements are in inches, if you are unsure about fit and if you require further measurements please just ask.
