A stunning horsehide car coat dating from the 1930s! This beautiful example has a Nicely worn in black horsehide shell with mouton sheepskin / sheepskin/wool lining. These are extremely rare pieces to find in black! Label is frayed but we have identified it as ‘reliable leather sportswear’ from Toronto Canada.
Condition
In great vintage condition. This piece is over 80 years old.
We consider wear and repairs part of the garments story but “flaws” of note are -
We have replaced / reinforced a few areas of sheepskin lining. The original belt is missing (but honestly this style looks better without!). We have not conditioned the leather as wanted to leave the privilege to the next owner!

Size not marked, fits like a modern large.
Measures approximately 24” armpit to armpit, 20” across the shoulders, 29.5” back of neck to base, 16.5” pit to cuff and 23” shoulder to cuff. All measurements are in inches, if you are unsure about fit and if you require further measurements please just ask.
