A Classic piece of American workwear Dating from the 1940s. This great chore jacket features 4 pocket to the front, riveted pocket tops, triple stitched seams throughout. What’s really interesting is that the entire body front and back, is a single piece of denim , no side seams at all! Also the seams despite being triple stitched all appear to be single needle tailored. The buttons are the sought after wreath donut button. Sadly no label remains but stitch lines so evidence of a big label so imagine it was the tear off paper kind originally. Selvedge seams showing the arm seams. The wear and fade to the denim is particularly good and it’s the great early boxy shape.

In great vintage condition, This piece is near 70 years old.

Size not marked but fits like a modern medium - large.
Measures approximately 25.5” armpit to armpit, 22” across the shoulders, 26.75” back of neck to base, 19.5” pit to cuff and 24.5” shoulder to cuff. All measurements are in inches, if you are unsure about fit and if you require further measurements please just ask.
