Rare M41 field jacket used by the army during WW2. It features a green cotton poplin shell with 1/2 belt detailing, action back and waist adjustment and finished with a wool lining. The zip fastening is a nice original silver Talon. Classic pieces that’s been referenced in many a film. This is a rarely seen larger size with the vast majority being very small!
Condition
In great vintage condition. This piece is over 75 years old.
We consider wear and repairs part of the garments story but “flaws” of note are -
Some marks throughout as expected, the arms had been cut short and we have extended them using period correct poplin. We have also changed the collar.

Size not marked but best for a modern medium/ slimmer large.
Measures approximately 25” armpit to armpit, 20” across the shoulders, 27” back of neck to base, 19.5” pit to cuff, 24” shoulder to cuff and 23.5” across waist. All measurements are in inches, if you are unsure about fit and if you require further measurements please just ask.
