A nicely patinated canvas hunting jacket made by the Hettrick MFG under the American field gun coat brand. It’s a really early example Dating from the 1920s and is full of details that you just don’t get on later examples. Half moon through pocket (accessible from outside), earlier canvas (later examples are elastic) shell holders, spider web shoulder reinforcement and a contrasting corduroy collar. It’s a serious bit of kit that will lasts lifetimes!

We consider wear and repairs part of the garments story but “flaws” of note are -
marks / wear to fabric as shown, small repair to the left back base.

Measures approximately 23.75" armpit to armpit, 18.5” across the shoulders, 29” back of neck to base, 21” pit to cuff and 24.5” shoulder to cuff. All measurements are in inches, if you are unsure about fit and if you require further measurements please just ask.
