Rare 1950s M38 French Army motorcycle jacket. Label is stamped to liner present and clear dating it to 1951. It’s a beautiful canvas cloth outter with great asymmetric styling. The wool lining can be unbuttoned and detached so wearable with or without. This example has had the shell overdyed black, making it a lot more wearable in my opinion!
Condition
In great vintage condition. This piece is near 60 years old.
We consider wear and repairs part of the garments story but “flaws” of note are -
Its been overdyed from the original khaki colour.

Size not marked but would fit up to a modern large comfortably.
Measures approximately 24.5 armpit to armpit, raglan shoulders, 32.5” back of neck to base and 22.5 ” pit to cuff. All measurements are in inches, if you are unsure about fit and if you require further measurements please just ask.
