Rare First Pattern Us Navy A1 deck jacket. Unlike the later pattern this first pattern has full set of woollen knits and arm pocket which are dropped in the later patterns. The stencil is lovely and clear to the front and back. Back stencil names it to the USS Berkeley. These have a particularly cool feature of the top of arm seams having a ridge so that water doesn’t collect on the shoulders.
