Great 1960s USAF issued MA1 Bomber jacket. This one is made by Skyline, one of the best known / regarded makers. Green nylon shell with orange on the reverse, with green wool knits, it’s a timeless (and reversible!) design. Lovely conmar zip fastenings. Label is present, dating to 1961, this is the rare MILJ8279C, first contract to have the orange lining, a collectors piece in its own right! Great condemed stamp to lining.

In great vintage condition. This piece is over 60 years old.
We consider wear and repairs part of the garments story but “flaws” of note are -
We have replaced the wool knits on collar and cuffs with mash Japan replacements. Some marks / fades as shown. Period repair to right arm and back as shown. Male side zip been changed with period correct replacement.

Size marked a medium, please note these are a boxy fit.
Measures approximately 24.5” armpit to armpit, 19” across the shoulders, 24” back of neck to base, 18” pit to cuff, 24.5” shoulder to cuff and 20” across the waistband unstretched. All measurements are in inches, if you are unsure about fit and if you require further measurements please just ask.
